Our client is a well-established hardware vendor within the IT hardware arena (printers, document management software and multi function devices). Due to growth within the organisation they have a Account Manager position available.

The successful candidate is to be part of an effective sales team establishing and nurturing relationships with key resellers and retail distributors.


You will responsible for achieving budget growth in the short term while contributing to developing sustainable growth in the long term.

Reporting to National Channel Sales Manager, the successful candidate will;

1. Understand and execute at steering committees.
2. Demonstrate the ability to sell "brand value".
3. Have strong organisational and time management skills.
4. Actively thrive and contribute within a dynamic team environment.
5. Show a self starting and lateral approach to business and selling.
6. Be competent in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
7. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and good numeric skills.
8. Be a proven sales person, who demonstrates considerable initiative.
9. Possess a clear understanding of, and experience in sales and service.
10. Have strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
11.Have negotiation experience with senior management.
